Expect!

“But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord, I will wait for the God of my salvation.  My God will hear me!”Micah 7:7

Mighty words of encouragement!  Are you “watching expectantly” for God to work on your behalf in this new year?  I desire to watch and wait with great expectation!  How about you?  Have you ever been caught in the trap where you can expect good things from God for everyone else but when it comes to your own personal life – you don’t expect anything but the worst or the least!  You live in disbelief and hopelessness.  At the very least, you might not believe that you deserve anything else!  God is the God of your salvation!  He hears your cry and long to answer the deepest longing of your heart!  He is moving and working on your behalf!  Are you crying out to Him and then expecting Him to work?  Are you watching for the dawning of His new day for your life?  What are you expecting God to do for you this year?  What are you expecting to hear from Him this year?  Are you in a place where He could speak – He could act?  What do you need to do to live a life of expectation?  Please meet me in the forums and let’s talk about it…..

  1. This verse in Micah has become a mainstay along with many others. I was shocked in December with a diagnosis of cancer. Beginning my first chemo treatment the week of Christmas was so overwhelming; there was so much I wanted to be and do with my husband at church. God has richly blesssed me on this journey already with a loving caring church family and a swarm of prayer warriors around the globe. I have a great peace through this storm and believe God will get the glory in our community and our church. I am humbled at the response of so many…but as for me I will look to the Lord. I will wait for the
God of my salvation and my God will hear me!
