ABOUT

LeighAnn Mccoy

Leighann McCoy is an author and speaker, but she’s also a pastor’s wife, a mother and a “nana.” She’s fought cancer twice, dealt with her teenage daughter’s pregnancy and abusive marriage, her sister’s death, PTSD in another daughter’s marriage, her son’s near drowning in the backyard pool AND she never could figure a way out of the first church she and her husband came to straight out of seminary some 30 years ago.

Leighann knows what it’s like to be loved and criticized; surrounded by friends and lonely. She knows what it’s like to have a great marriage and a struggling one and what it’s like to be a proud parent and an embarrassed one. She also knows what all this is like surrounded by a great crowd of witnesses. She is real, raw, sympathetic, no, make that empathetic and funny. In fact, she’s often said, “If I didn’t have a sense of humor, I’d have no sense at all.”
