When the Silence Feels Heavy — God Is Still at Work
When life changes, and we begin something new, like a new year, silence can feel unsettling. Christmas decorations are down and put away. Be Still…I’m Moving
It is dark yet, and the day is so very young when I nestle into my favorite chair. There is such a stillness in our home this time of day except for the ticking of the clock and the occasional peaceful sighs of my sleeping pup nearby. My heart welcomes the stillness. I need these…

This stripping away happened to our family 5 years ago this month. At the time, all that we knew, was taken away in one day. God taught our entire family of 11 that HE is our ALL. Looking back, I see where others meant that day for evil, God meant it for our good. I love the way Joseph put it in Genesis, “God meant it for my good”. When it FEELS all is destroyed, NO, God is just working with a new area in our life. PRAISE THE LORD that HE sees down the road!!
