Philippians 4:8 and Prov. 3:5-6 are among my favorite passages. The “whatever” reminder has been very helpful for me right now because we are surrounded by negative news reporting and negative reactions to the news and that’s on top of what is happening in our personal lives. I may not have control over what is happening but I can ask God for wisdom and strength to choose what I watch, listen to or read and how I will respond – especially to things which I cannot change. Praise and thanksgiving ARE great weapons – I find listening to and singing along with praise music banishes negative attitudes for me. “The joy of the Lord is my strength.”
Need to keep working on “God’s got this”. The list and box are great reminders.
