Give Thanks

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good
    His faithful love endures forever.
Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out!
Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies. Psalm 107:1-2 (read the rest)

Thanksgiving is next Thursday.  Can you believe it?   I can honestly say,”I don’t know where all my time has gone.”  I know that the year has been full to the brim with family, ministry to others, and just life in general.  There have been heartaches and victories.  Lessons learned and lessons taught.  There have been intense spiritual battles and there has been provision, sweet deliverance, healing and victories of every size and color.  He is so good to us!  We must speak out!  We must tell others how He has redeemed us and set us on a firm foundation!  He hears us in our trouble.  He rescues us from distress.  He celebrates our victories!  He is for US!

This week as I have listened to others stories  I have been keenly aware of how our Abba Daddy God is working on the behalf of His daughters.  He is active even when it appears that He is not.  Sometimes the battle can seem so intense that we can feel as if we are alone and yet we are not.  He is with us.  He promises to never leave us or forsake us.  You and I have to remember that we are in a battle each and everyday.  There are times that the battle is more intense than others but all the same it’s a daily battle that must be waged.   You and I must be suited up ready for this battle each and everyday of our earthly lives.

In our home, we pray on the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-24) each day on the way school – this morning as I prayed concerning the last piece of armor which is the sword of the Spirit – THE WORD OF GOD – I was keenly aware that many are enduring greater things that I can ever imagine and yet they still place their faith in the God of this universe!  So ladies, stand firm and let’s praise the Lord for all that He has done for us.  Let’s be thankful and give thanks for the events He has walked with us this past year.  He hears the cries of His own.  He rescues, delivers, heals, restores, redeems and reclaims!

I am praying that each of you has a glorious Thanksgiving week and that you will remember who you are and WHOSE you are!  Sing His praises my sisters He is there for you! He faithful, He is good and HIS LOVE endures forever!  Halleluiah!

Love you ,
Diane
