I think we all need to remind ourselves what real love is. We are constantly bombarded in this world with subtle or not so subtle messages of what the world says love is. We see the drama movies, watch commercials and we forget that love gives and serves. And then remind ourselves that we can love out of the love He has given us. FILL OURSELVES UP with HIM!

I must say I believe God is speaking to me personal because this is the second time in the last day God has taking me to this passage. The Pastor last night in bible study talked about this same issue. I know that there are times when being a friend has become second to being everything to everybody. I always pray that God will tap me on the shoulder when it gets to be to much for his son because his daughter is to busy to see that he needs his friend back. I pray that we all seek true guidance from God about the love in our marriages.

Thank you for this subject. I am using it in my women support group. I think that we need to learn how to trust in a faithful God when it seems that everything and everyone is against us. We have to learn to be faithful to God to the point that we see him fighting the battle without us. We can have the joy of resting in the shadow of his wing when we learn to expect.

This verse in Micah has become a mainstay along with many others. I was shocked in December with a diagnosis of cancer. Beginning my first chemo treatment the week of Christmas was so overwhelming; there was so much I wanted to be and do with my husband at church. God has richly blesssed me on this journey already with a loving caring church family and a swarm of prayer warriors around the globe. I have a great peace through this storm and believe God will get the glory in our community and our church. I am humbled at the response of so many…but as for me I will look to the Lord. I will wait for the
God of my salvation and my God will hear me!
